Malmön Cathedral Mosque is one of the main mosques in Sweden . Located in the Malmö - Husie area. It was opened in 1984 as the first mosque in Scandinavia . The Islamic Center adjacent to the mosque contains an Islamic school - madrassas , as well as a library. The mosque serves as a place of prayer for approximately 55,000 Muslims living in the region. Incident History

The mosque was subjected to three attacks (arson). During the arson committed on April 28, 2003, the mosque was badly damaged, and other buildings, including the Islamic center, were completely destroyed. September 18 and October 21, 2005 the fire was quickly localized, causing minor damage. [2]
