Kapisa ( Dari کاپيسا Kāpisā , Pashto کاپیسا ) is one of the 34 provinces (provinces) of Afghanistan . Located in the north-east of the country. The administrative center is the city of Mahmudraki . The population is estimated at 399,500. (as of 2009) [1] . The territory of the region is 1 842 km ², and by the size of the territory the province is the smallest in Afghanistan.
