Order of Glory (Order of Shokhrat) ( azerb. "Şöhrət" ordeni ) - Order of the Republic of Azerbaijan . ^[1] Approved by the President of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, on December 6, 1993, by law No. 757. ^[2]

To approve the Statute of the Order of the Republic of Azerbaijan “Glory” and its description (attached).

Order Awarding

The Order of the Azerbaijan Republic "Glory" is awarded to citizens of the Azerbaijan Republic, foreign citizens and stateless persons:

for special merits in economic, scientific, technical and socio-cultural development
for special merits in strengthening peace and friendship and the development of cooperation between peoples;
for outstanding labor results in industry, transport, communications, construction and other sectors of the economy;
for special merits in the field of science, education and health.

Wearing the Order

The Order of Glory is worn on the left side of the chest and, in the presence of other orders and medals of the Azerbaijan Republic, is located in front of them, but after the Order of Heydar Aliyev , the Order of Independence , the Order of Shah Ismail , the Order of the Azerbaijan Banner .

Description

The order consists of a crescent moon, which is framed by a national ornament. Inside is a laurel wreath and sun with rays. The order is made of silver, gilded, and on top is covered with blue enamel. The size of the order is 32 mm x 38 mm.

On the golden ribbon there is an inscription “Glory”, and in the upper part there is an 8-pointed star of the same color. The diameter of the star is 9 mm. On the reverse side of the order, the series and number of the order are marked. The order is connected to a white-blue ribbon measuring 37 mm x 50 mm, which is attached to clothing.

A block made of a similar tape attached to clothes is also attached to the order. The size of the tape is 37 mm x 10 mm. ^[3]
