About the album
Alice Cooper Goes to Hell sequel to his previous album Welcome to My Nightmare . Almost all the songs on the album were written by Alice, guitarist Dick Wagner and producer Bob Ezrin . This comically frightening album continued Cooper's legend about the wrong, provocative, brilliant transformation. [3] [ specify ]
Inspired by the success of “Only Women Bleed,” a single from his first solo album, Alice also focused on rock ballads. “I Never Cry” was a kind of commentary on the situation with alcoholism, which forced him to go to a rehabilitation center. Cooper himself described the song as “ an alcoholic confession ”.
In 2005, the title track Go to Hell entered the sixth episode ( Human Sacrifice ) of the television series Lucy, the Daughter of the Devil as the main musical theme.
