Viper already [1] ( lat. Natrix maura ) - a snake from the genus snakes . It is named so by its external resemblance to a viper - a zigzag pattern on the back of a snake with eye-like spots is similar to a viper, however, it may be different in some individuals.

It is found in the countries of the Western and Southern Mediterranean. It reaches a length of 1 meter, but its usual size is 55-60 cm. Females are larger and heavier than males. [2]
