Leonid Izrailevich Itzolev (born 1945 , Leningrad ) is a Russian writer. He graduated from the English department of the Leningrad Pedagogical Institute. He emigrated to the West in 1978.

Leonid Itselev's works are usually satirical collages, overlays of the reality of fictional characters on historical reality. Iceliev widely uses real and pseudo-real letters, memoirs and other documents.
He was published in the magazines Time and We , 22, Syntax, Modern Dramaturgy (1992, NN 5-6), Literary European and Bridges .
Lives in Austria, Germany and the Czech Republic.
