Pelageya Osipovna entered the second marriage already many years after the death of Gregory, according to her own statement, the mother’s abrupt temper prevented her. The second chosen one of Pelagia was the widower Afanasy Zakurdaev, with whom she met when she was already over 50, and the couple officially married only on December 25, 1947 . From that day until the end of her days, Pelageya Iosifovna became Zakurdaeva. The short time of the first marriage and the late entry into the second did not allow Pelagia to have her children, however she became a mother to the children of the widower Athanasius, whom she accepted as her own. Soon after Pelagia exchanged the eighth dozen, Athanasius died and, at the invitation of one of Zakurdaev’s granddaughters, moved to sunny Tashkent , where she soon married a Belarusian Sergei Romanovich, and as a lesson, Pelageya Osipovna chose to read the hymnal at the head of the deceased Orthodox residents of Tashkent. The marriage with Sergei Romanovich lasted three years. After his death in Tashkent, Pelageya Osipovna married the German Karl, whose marriage lasted 8 months, Karl died in a car accident.
