Makasharipov Rasul Magomedkhabibovich [1] ( Muslim ) (November 14, 1971, village of Sasitli, Tsumadinsky district of the Dagestan Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic - July 6, 2005) - an active participant in the religious extremist underground in the North Caucasus, creator and leader of the Jennet subversive and terrorist squad territory of the Republic of Dagestan, the leader of the extremist group " Jamaat Sharia " [2] .

Biography

In 1997, as a result of a family quarrel on religious grounds, he left home. He came to the attention of the media and law enforcement agencies in August 1999 during the invasion of Chechen fighters in Dagestan , when Makasharipov was a personal translator and conductor of Shamil Basayev . In early May 2000, he voluntarily surrendered to the authorities [4] . He was sentenced to eight years for participating in illegal armed groups, but was immediately released under an amnesty in honor of the 60th anniversary of the Victory [2] .
Already in the summer of 2000, he was put on the federal wanted list in several criminal cases.
According to law enforcement agencies, in 2002 Makasharipov was sent by Rappani Khalilov to Dagestan, where he organized the Jennet subversive and terrorist detachment, specializing in attacks on Dagestan police, intelligence agencies, and military personnel. Several times (June 21, 2004, January 15, 2005) he and his subordinates were blocked in residential buildings, but each time he managed to hide.
In 2005 , he created a new underground terrorist formation, the Jamaat Sharia, which entered the so-called Caucasian Front , the creation of which was announced by the President of the unrecognized Chechen Republic, Ichkeria Sadulayev .
On July 1, 2005, militants from the Shariah group carried out a terrorist attack against fighters of the special forces Rus, after which five senior officials of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan were dismissed. Already on July 6, Makasharipov was killed during a shootout with Russian troops. His successor was Rappani Khalilov .
The wife of Makasharipov, Dinara Butdaeva, also actively participated in the activities of the religious extremist underground of Dagestan [5] .
