Biography
Born in 1961 in Grozny.
In 1983 he graduated from the Faculty of History of the Chechen-Ingush State University. Historian.
In 1985 - 1991 - methodologist of the station of young tourists, a researcher at the Chechen-Ingush Republican Regional Museum. The author of works on the history of the national liberation movement of Chechnya of the XIX century. Head of the Archives Department [1] .
Since 1994 - Member of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Defense Council of the Chechen Republic of Ichkeria. He commanded the special purpose brigade at Ruslan Gelayev .
Shot from a sniper rifle on July 26, 2000 in the village of Valerik , in a private household. According to some data in a shootout with Russian special forces, however, the military denied their involvement in his death and believed that Arbi Barayev , a longtime enemy of Gelayev, was involved in his murder [2] .
