The Chronicle of Not Bad is another unsuccessful attempt to depict Czech history against the background of the world. True, the author better than his predecessors ( Frantisek Prazhsky , Benes Krabice from Veitmile ) knew the history of the Czech Republic, stood closer to Karl himself, often accompanied him on trips. But the composition of Not Bad is only a random compilation in which numerous reports are repeatedly repeated and the data of which cannot be relied on.

Neplach took as a basis the chronicle of the popes and Roman emperors Martin Polonius and added to it a brief excerpt from the Czech chronicles - the “ Czech Chronicle ” of Kozma Prague , his Successors, and so the Dalimilov Chronicle , from which he borrowed mainly the sequence of board of Bohemian sovereigns and a description of church events. The facts of world and Czech history are mechanically combined in Nepah. The narration was brought to the 1360s, but the most interesting information relating to the last two decades and gleaned from the chronicler’s own experience has not been preserved. The chronicle is published in Latin, there are separate references to it from researchers of related works.
