The Russian Alliance ( lit. Rusų aljansas ) is a Lithuanian political party representing the interests of the Russian-speaking community of Lithuania. The current party leader is Tamara Lokhankina.
History
It was founded on August 31, 2002 . In the 2002 local elections, he gained 3 seats (out of 31) in Klaipeda. [1] In 2006, the seat in the Sejm was taken by the representative of the RA Irina Rozova, nominated in 2004 on the list of Peasants and the New Democracy. [2] In 2007, the RA won three out of 31 seats in the local elections in Klaipeda. [3] In 2008, the Republic of Armenia participated in the Seimas elections in the list of Electoral Action of Poles in Lithuania , which gained 4.79% with a five percent threshold. [4] In 2011, he won 3 out of 31 seats in the local elections in Klaipeda [5] , together with the IAPL, overcame the percentage barrier in Vilnius. [6]
