Omsk State School of Olympic Reserve

The federal state budgetary institution the professional educational organization “Siberian State College (College) of the Olympic Reserve” (hereinafter referred to as the school) is a secondary professional educational institution where athletes from the Siberian Federal District, as well as from different regions of Russia and neighboring countries, are studying.

The school was opened by order of the RSFSR State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports dated June 21, 1990 No. 352. In 1991, the first student enrollment of 90 people was conducted in 14 sports: acrobatics, badminton, biathlon, boxing, judo sambo, Greek Roman wrestling, cycling-highway, athletics, rhythmic gymnastics, skiing, swimming, short track, figure skating, fencing. These were the most promising guys in the Siberian region, which were recommended by coaches and federations in sports. Athletes without secondary education were enrolled in the sports classes of the basic school of the school - secondary school No. 134.

The effectiveness of the idea of ​​creating a school was confirmed by sports results from the first years of its existence. For the first calendar year, 12 masters of sports were trained, and in the following 1992, 16 athletes became winners of the championships of Russia.

In 2001, the school received a Presidential grant. In the same 2001, the school was noted by the Gratitude of the State Committee of the Russian Federation for Physical Culture, Sports and Tourism for its great contribution to the development of physical culture and sports in Russia, the training of specialists, outstanding athletes and the education of youth.

In 2005, the school was awarded the Russian Olympic Committee for its contribution to the domestic sports movement, the successful organization of training and professional education of student athletes of the national teams of the country. In the same year, it was noted by the All-Russian Volunteer Society "Sports Russia" for its great contribution to the development of sports in the Omsk region.

In 2006, the school became a laureate of the competition in the nomination "100 best secondary vocational schools of Russia." In the same year she was awarded the Badge of Honor of the Russian Paralympic Committee.

In 2008, the school was entered in the All-Russian National Register "Elite of Education of Russia" and marked by the leadership of ROSSPORT "For high sports achievements at the XXIX Summer Olympic Games."

In 2012, the school became the winner of the All-Russian competition of educational institutions of secondary and higher vocational education for the best organization of physical education and sports among students in the nomination "The best educational institution of secondary vocational education in Russia, which trains specialists in the field of physical education and sports."

In 2015, the school was awarded a commemorative medal and diploma “XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi” for its significant contribution to the preparation and holding of the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi.
