Tulkarm ( Arabic: محافظة طولكرم ) is one of the 16 provinces of the State of Palestine , located in the northwest of the West Bank .

The territory is 268 square kilometers. According to the Central Bureau of Statistics of the PNA, the provincial population was 172,800 inhabitants ^{[ when?} ^] .
