Jericho (province) ( Arabic: محافظة أريحا ) is one of the 16 provinces of the State of Palestine . Located in the eastern part of the West Bank , it occupies the southern part of the Jordan Valley , right up to the northern shore of the Dead Sea , borders on Jordan .
