KazanRing Canyon (eng. KazanRing Canyon) - auto racing track, built on the outskirts of Kazan , along its bypass road near the High Mountain Highway . Construction began in 2006, and Hermann Tilke took part in the development of the route scheme. The track has a length of 3.476 kilometers and a height difference of up to 28 meters. One of the features of the track - the movement on it is carried out counterclockwise, which is relatively rare in ring motor sport. The first competition took place in 2011. The absolute track record was set in test runs on a 2010 GP2 formula car, the indicated time is 1 min 12.87 seconds [1] .
