Content
Story
Small provincial town, Sunday, early morning. Kohl wandering around the yard from idleness annoys his neighbors with stupid conversations. Not finding the interlocutors on the street, he comes to his friend Feda. They meet him tiredly and indifferently. Wanting to attract attention, Kolya says that he is allegedly going to go to a friend - to the Far East . This decision finds universal support, Kolya becomes a local hero, all the neighbors participate in his gatherings and wires. Under the dictation of Fedi, he writes a letter of resignation, Valya collects his suitcase, enterprising neighbors buy his furniture.
For the decision to leave a boring monotonous life, Kolya receives respect and even the envy of his acquaintances. And when he reports that the departure story is just a fiction, no one believes him anymore. Kolya is put on a bus, and he leaves his hometown and people who became his closest to him that day.
Filming
Conceiving the film "Cloud Paradise", Nikolai Dostal was looking for an actor who looked like Yuri Nikulin in his youth. The candidacy of Andrei Zhigalov was prompted by All Klyuk, who starred with him in the film “Body” by Nikita Khubov [1] . The film was shot in May-June 1990. The film premiered in October 1991. Fifteen years later, Nikolai Dostal filmed a sequel to the film with the same cast - “ Kolya - roll the field ” [2] .
Location
The film was shot in the city of Petrozavodsk ( Karelia ). A five-story residential building No. 12 on Frunze Street, sheds on Pioneer Street, as well as a sawmill and furniture factory [3] .
