Eurodollars - dollars representing cash in US dollars deposited by their owners in banks located outside the United States , mainly in European banks. Bank accounts in dollars allow banks with opened accounts to use dollar money for operations in the international market for loan capital , since the dollar is recognized as a world currency .

Eurodoll futures are traded in the United States on the CME and are among the most popular interest rate futures. The volume of the contract for the supply of Eurodollars ( P ) is calculated according to the scheme:
