Artsimenev Yuri Nikolaevich (born February 23, 1937 ) is a Russian miniature painter , author of more than 200 Soviet and Russian postage stamps , more than 500 envelopes and single-sided postcards with the original stamp (since 1968), as well as the first stamps of some post-Soviet republics. Artist of the Marka Publishing and Shopping Center .

Biography
He graduated from the Moscow Radiomechanical College , evening drawing courses at the Moscow State Academic Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov , the evening department of the art and graphic faculty of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute named after V.I. Lenin .
At the end of the technical school, Yuri Nikolaevich worked in one of the research institutes , then as an artist- designer for the development of television equipment, as an art editor in the USSR Ministry of Communications, as a graphic artist in the industrial graphics art factory of the Ministry of Food Industry of the RSFSR . He was a teacher of painting in art schools in Moscow .

Yuri Nikolaevich is the creator of the first postage stamps of the Russian Federation , published on January 10, 1992 in honor of the 16th Winter Olympic Games in Albertville ( CFA [ ITC “Marka” ] No. 1-3) [1] , as well as one of the authors of the first standard stamps Russian Federation denominations of 15 kopecks , 5, 15, 25, 45, 50, 75, 100, 250 and 500 rubles ( CFA [ ITC “Marka” ] No. 20, 21, 34, 47, 59–62, 68, 69) .
Yuri Artsimenev is also the author of:
- the first stamp of Kyrgyzstan , dedicated to the Sary-Chelek reserve in the Jalal-Abad region ( Mi # 1; Sc # 1) ;
- one of the first stamps of Azerbaijan (put into circulation with overprints ), dedicated to the Caspian Sea nature-landscape reserve ( Mi #II) ;
- stamps of Moldova “ Codrii Nature Reserve ” ( Mi # 4; Sc # 25) .
These brands, which also include the Russian brand dedicated to the Prioksko-Terrasny Zapovednik ( CFA (ITC) # 9; Mi # 228) , were apparently conceived as an all-Union series. However, due to the demise of the USSR, the sketches were used by the national postal services. [2]
