Volodary , Volodarka (quarries of the Konstantinovsky ravine [1] ) - the Moscow region system of artificial caves-quarries. Limestone was mined here for the construction of "white stone" Moscow. Structure
The Volodara quarry are 3 interconnected quarry systems: Kurya, Lukomorye and Tavrovaya. The most famous is the first system - Kurya. It is an easy to navigate system and therefore quite popular. In this system there are a lot of grottoes adapted for life. There is one input to the system.
The second system - Lukomorye - is located next to Kurya. There are three passes from the first Volodar system to the second.
The third system, the Tauris, is the smallest of all. You can completely bypass the system in about 20 minutes. Of greatest interest is the “Museum”, “Mikitavr”, the grotto “Goose-Crystal”.
