Senekerim ( Arm. Սենեքերիմ ) - the king of Syunik in Armenia from 1072 to 1094 or 1096 [2] .

He ruled along with his sister Shahanduht II . Patronized the Tatev Monastery . He expanded the boundaries of the kingdom. In an effort to strengthen his power, he traveled to Isfahan , where he was confirmed as king of Syunik by the Seljuk ruler Melik Shah [3] .
After the death of Melik Shah, the Seljuks invaded Syunik. Senecerim was killed.
Mkhitar Ayrivanetsi writes in the 13th century [4] :
Emir Paltun sent Vasak Pakhlavuni, son of Gregory the Magister, with a large army against Bagaberd. He tricked and killed the Armenian king Senakarim and took the country of Syunia.
In one of the documents, Senecerim called himself [5] the king of Armenia, sitting in Syunik [1] :
By the will of the almighty Jesus, I, Senekerim, king of Armenia in the lands of Sisakan and Bagka

With the approval of the conciliatory Seljuk Sultan Melik Shah, son of the conqueror Alp Arslan, Senekerim assumed his throne on the death of Grigor and reigned from 1072 to 1094 or 1096.
