Vazgenashen ( armenian Վազգենաշեն ) is a village in Nagorno-Karabakh . According to the administrative-territorial division of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic , which actually controls the village, it is located in the Martuni region of the NKR , according to the administrative-territorial division of Azerbaijan - in the territory of the Agdam region of Azerbaijan .

History
The village was built after the end of the Karabakh war especially for Armenian refugees with joint funds from the state budget and diaspora benefactors [4] .
According to 2004 data in the village of 46 houses, according to the 2005 census, the population is 226 people [5] . The village has a secondary school and a first-aid post. Vazgenashen has the largest share of large families in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic [6] .
