Biography

Aurika Rotaru was born on October 22, 1958 in the village Marshintsy of the Novoselitsky district of the Chernivtsi region . The Rotaru family talked in Moldavian . She graduated from the village school in the Moldovan language of instruction.

In 1980 she graduated from Chernivtsi Vorobkevich School of Music, conductor and choir department.

In 1985 she graduated from the Odessa Pedagogical Institute. K. D. Ushinsky .

Family

Creativity

Aurelia Mikhailovna began her singing activity at the Chernivtsi Philharmonic , where she was the soloist with her sister Lydia in the ensemble Cheremosh , and toured throughout Ukraine.

She continued her creative activity in Vinnytsia, then in the Crimean Philharmonic. She toured with her sister Sophia Rotaru . Participated in festivals: “Crimean Dawns” (Yalta), “Kiev Spring” ( Kiev ), “White Nights” ( St. Petersburg ), “Wider Circle”, “ Song of the Year ” ( Moscow , Kiev). Performed the song “ Christmas toys ” with Arkady Khoralov.
