Story

Former large party functionary Valerian Petrovich Mukhin decides to break with the past: move to the village and become a farmer. He meets the farmer Katerina, who has been living here since birth, and leaves her already ex-wife. Mukhin promises his woman to stop drinking and start a new life. He meets with another farmer, former Afghan officer Viktor Kurlygin and his wife Tatyana. Next to them, in the past, an urban couple, Polina and Mikhail, start farming. Polina came to the village to sell the house left after her aunt’s death, and she stayed here to live. Michael is impersonating Pauline’s wife.

The six main characters begin to equip their economy, but difficulty arises. They have to confront the criminal authority of Gavrilov. On the land that the farmers began to cultivate, sources of mineral water were discovered, and the bandits decided to unceremoniously pick them up. Farmers first try to resolve the matter in a legal way, but the local police are bribed. The bandits begin to intimidate the farmers, and then the heroes take up arms (find the gun remaining from the war) and restore justice.
