He is the owner of the world record in the premises among juniors 8 m 22 cm.
He finished fourth in the European Championships in Athletics in Gothenburg , with a score of 7.96 (in qualifying jumped with a personal record of 8 m 25 cm). In confined spaces the best result is 8 m 22 cm.
He was the seventh at the European Track and Field Championships in Birmingham with a new personal record of 16 meters 92 cm. He won the bronze medal at the 2004 World Junior Championships in Grosseto . At the 2008 Summer Olympics held in Beijing was the eighth with a result of 16 m 87 cm .
At the second European team championship in Bergen, Victor won a sensational victory. Having shown his first record jump (17 m 26 cm) in the very first attempt, he beat the world record holder in the premises of Teddy Tamgo and the eminent Phillips Aydov .
