History
The village was first mentioned in salary books of 1676 as part of the Nevadevsky parish , it had 3 landlord and 22 peasant yards [3] .
In the late XIX - early XX centuries, the village was part of the Kazakovsky volost of the Murom district of Vladimir province , since 1926 - as part of the Novoselsky volost . In 1859 [4] there were 22 yards in the village, in 1905 [5] - 63 yards, in 1926 [6] - 100 yards.
Since 1929, the village was the center of the Chevaninsky Village Council of the Vachsky District of the Gorky Region , since 1931 - as part of the Davydovsky Village Council , since 1936 - as a part of the Gorky Region , and since 2009 - as part of the Filinsky Village Council .
