Biography
The son of an industrialist. He studied law and economics in Göttingen , Munich and Leipzig . In 1929 he received a doctorate. In 1931 he joined the NSDAP (membership card No. 599 865). In 1933 he joined the SS (No. 36 054). September 9, 1933 became deputy head of the Gestapo in Dresden . In 1935 he was transferred to the main branch of the SD in Berlin as a government adviser. He then became Head of Division 1 in Wartegau, responsible for financial and internal affairs. In 1941 he was appointed responsible for the Jewish question. September 20, 1941 gave the order to solve the problem associated with the employment and housing of Jews and Gypsies in Wartegau. At the end of 1943 he was appointed government president in Oppeln. In 1944 he received the Cross "For Military Merit . " After the war, he worked as a lawyer. In 1961 he became legal adviser at Mauser Werke AG.
