Biography
Born in a working-class family, Russian . Since 1937 he lived in the city of Kushka, Turkmenistan . Education is incomplete secondary. Since 1942 - graduate of the military unit.
In the battles of World War II from January 1943 . Senior intelligence officer of the 12th mortar regiment (43rd mortar brigade, 3rd Guards artillery division, 5th artillery breakout corps, 43rd army, 3rd Belorussian front) Senior sergeant Evseev distinguished himself on April 13, 1945 near the village of Nautzvinkel ( 12 km west of the city of Kaliningrad ). As part of a group of scouts, he entered the battle with large enemy forces, personally destroyed over 10 Nazis. He was seriously wounded and captured, where he was brutally murdered by the Nazis .
A detachment of Germans ....... of 500 people broke through to the firing positions of the 12th mortar regiment. The first to raise the alarm was the eighteen-year-old signalman on the way of the Nazis, senior sergeant A. A. Evseev. Surrounded by the Nazis, he opened fire, shooting them at point blank range. They shouted to him: "Rus, give up!" But the fighter answered every attempt of the Germans to approach with a strong fire. When the cartridges ran out, the young man let the enemies come close and, bursting into their thicket, threw two hand grenades under his feet.
