Pamela Munro ( born Pamela Munro ; May 23, 1947 [2] ) is an American linguist who specializes in the languages of the Indians of North America and, to a lesser extent, in the languages of Africa. He teaches at the University of California (Los Angeles). She has published numerous articles and books about Native American languages, participated in the creation of dictionaries for a number of rare languages - Zapoteksky , Chicago and Wolof . She proposed her classification of Muskog languages , different from the traditional classification of M. Haas . He is also the editor of a series of books about slang American colleges.
