Clafter

Klafter ( German: Klafter ) is a length measure belonging, by origin, to the number of so-called natural measures and corresponding to Old Russian fly fathoms . Viennese clafter = 1.896 m, Hessian clafter = 2.5 m and approximately corresponds to the measure called in the French language Touaz .

Clafter formerly also - Austrian wood measure, was ½ cubic meter. Viennese clafter = 3.41 m³; Bavarian clafter = 3.13 m³.
