History

In 1595, the hetman, the great crown Yan Zamoysky at the head of the Polish army entered Moldova, where he seated the Polish protege Jeremiah Mogila on the throne of the throne. In 1597, the Moldavian ruler Jeremiah appointed his younger brother Simion as the Suceava hetman.

In 1599, the Polish government, the prince of Transylvania, Andrzej Batori and the Moldavian ruler Jeremiah Mogila decided to remove Mihai the Brave (Vityazul) from Wallachian rule and put Simeon Mogila on the Wallachian throne. In 1600, the Polish army again entered Moldova under the command of the hetman of the great crown Yan Zamoysky, who defeated the troops of Mihai the Brave. Sigismund Bathory again took the princely throne of Transylvania, and Jeremiah Tomb again became the ruler of Moldova. In the fall of 1600, Simeon Grave was seated on the throne in the Wallachia, where a civil war broke out with supporters of Mihai the Brave. In July 1601, after the death of Mihai Vityazul, Simon Mogila was expelled from Wallachia, where Radu Shcherban became sovereign. With the help of the Poles, Simon Mogila was able to regain the sovereign throne in Wallachia, but in August 1602 he was again expelled.

In 1606, the Moldavian ruler Jeremiah Mogila died, appointing his youngest son Constantine as his successor. In July 1606, Simeon Grave expelled his nephew and himself took the Moldavian throne of the throne. September 14, 1607 Simeon Grave died, poisoned by Elizabeth, the widow of his brother Jeremiah.

Simeon Mogila appointed his son Mikhail as his successor, who was soon expelled by his cousin Konstantin with the help of Polish troops Samuel Koretsky , Mikhail Vishnevetsky and Stefan Pototsky .
