Nikolai Apollonovich Pykhachev ( October 1 (13), 1851 - October 1932 ) - Russian military leader, infantry general (November 21, 1911), commander of the Separate Border Guard Corps ( 1908 - 1917 ).

Biography
Nikolai Pykhachev was born on October 1 (13), 1851; came from the nobles of the Poltava province.
In the army since August 16, 1867. He graduated from the 1st Moscow Cadet Corps ( 1867 ) and the 3rd Alexander School (1869).
He participated in the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878 .
From April 29, 1896 to November 24, 1899 he commanded the 95th Krasnoyarsk Infantry Regiment.
From November 24, 1899 to June 2, 1904 - commander of the Life Guard of the Moscow Regiment , from June 2, 1904 to January 23, 1905 - commander of the 1st Brigade of the 2nd Guards Infantry Division.
From January 23, 1905, it was at the disposal of the Commander-in-Chief of the Guard and St. Petersburg Military District.
In 1906 - 1908 - commander of the 23rd Infantry Division.
From 1908 to 1917, Pykhachev commanded the Separate Corps of the Border Guard . General from Infantry (pr. 11/21/1911; Art. 04/14/1913; for distinction; with seniority on the basis of the Highest Command that followed on 11/23/1910). Retired from 02.1917. In exile. Brother - Victor (1855 -?) - Russian general [1] .
Nikolai Apollonovich Pykhachev died in October 1932.
