Biography

Of the nobles. He graduated from Kharkov University . In 1905-1906 member of the student social democratic movement. He was arrested in Petrograd on August 16, 1922. According to the decree of the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee of August 21, 1922, he was subject to expulsion abroad. He went abroad with his family on February 12, 1923. He returned to the USSR from Czechoslovakia in 1927, worked as a senior researcher at the Central Research Institute of the Paper Industry. According to the decision of the Special Meeting at the NKVD of the USSR of March 14, 1935, he was sent to Ufa for a term of 5 years "as a socially dangerous element ." By a decision of the same authority of February 7, 1936, expulsion was canceled, it was allowed to return to Leningrad.

He died in a blockade.
