Biography

Club career

Horst Blankenburg began his football career in the youth team of the Heidenheim club. In 1967, Horst became a player in Nuremberg . In the German championship season 1967/1968 Horst played 13 matches and the champion of Germany. Then Horst moved to the Austrian " Wiener ", the amount of transfer was 45 thousand marks . Horst spent one season at the Austrian club, after which he moved to the German “ Munich 1860 ”, his new club paid him 100 thousand marks.
