Laughter room

Czech laughter room

Laughter room (in English “house of mirrors” or “hall of mirrors”) is a traditional attraction in amusement parks . The main concept of the laughter room is a maze type puzzle, but in addition to the confusing spatial sense of the maze, visual sensations are also confused by making the walls of the maze from optically reflective material, most often glass mirrors . Sometimes each mirror can be deformed by curving, convex or concave , in order to convey to the participants an unusual and confusing reflection of themselves.

The laughter room owes its origin to the mirror hall in the Palace of Versailles .
