Borba Square is a square in Moscow on the border of the Tverskaya ( TsAO ) and Maryina Roshcha ( NEAD ) districts, between Dostoevsky , Obraztsova and Perunovsky Lane .

History
The former name - Alexander Square - according to the Alexander Institute of Noble Maidens, founded here in 1891. It was renamed in 1918 in memory of the revolutionary battles of October 1917 in the area.
Description
The Wrestling Square is a triangle formed by three streets: Perunovsky Lane from the north, Dostoevsky Street from the south-west and Obraztsov Street from the southeast. On the square there is a city square and several sculptures, including a monument to the heroes of Venedikt Erofeev ’s poem “ Moscow - Petushki ”.
In house 15 on Wrestling Square from 1922 to 1965 lived the poet David Samoilov .

Transport
On the square there is a stop of the same name for trams No. 7, 9 and 19. On December 5, 2015, the stop was returned to its old name “Square of Struggle” [1] in connection with the reorganization of City Clinical Hospital No. 59, which caused the station to be renamed in 2014.
