Rob the loot

For the first time, this expression was used by Lenin V.I. in a speech on January 24 (according to other sources) on January 23, 1918 in the wording “We rob the loot.” Lenin himself referred to the speech of the Don Cossack Shamov at the III All-Russian Congress of Soviets on January 16, 1918. Shamov in this speech noted that "we are robbing robbers" ^{[1] [2]} .

In his speech at the meeting of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee on April 29, 1918, Lenin declared:

In the slogan "robbing loot" I can not find anything wrong if history appears on the scene. If we use the words: expropriation of expropriators, then why can not we do without Latin words? (Applause) ^[3]

As the actual author of the slogan, Lenin V. I., admitted that the phrase "Rob the loot!" Was a literal translation into Russian of the expression "expropriation of expropriators." This term was based on the Marxist theory of surplus value , from which Marx himself concluded that during the exploitation by the capitalists of the working class, the share of the surplus value appropriated by them gradually accumulates over time, so that after some time in general all the property of the exploiters becomes expropriated from the working class . In their practical implementation of this slogan, the Bolsheviks referred to a famous quote from the works of Karl Marx:
