The Kaluzhskoye Electro Depot ( PM- 5 ) serves the Kaluga-Riga line of the Moscow Metro . The second in terms of the number of depot trains in the Moscow metro after Vladykino (PM-14) .

In 1976, the depot was expanded to two more naves to the east of the existing ones, a workshop was added to repair automation systems in cars (the second in Moscow after the workshop at Planernoye - now there are already all depot locations in the city), as well as several additional storage facilities .
Since 2008, the depot is of the type E No. 3605 being preserved in the depot, and in 2013 the depot fleet was replenished with two additional trains 81-717 / 714 from the depot PM-8 Varshavskoye .
The depot operates the flaw detector No. 9279 for ultrasonic flaw detection of rails with four escort cars (runs under route 96, transferred from PM-14 Vladykino).
Also in the depot there is a freight train (used for maneuvers and distillations). Its composition is 8718cp-7993-0129. Car number 0129 is an experienced car model 81-717.5.
Kaluzhskaya Station
From 1964 to 1974, a temporary Kaluzhskaya station was located in one of the depot depots. As of spring 2019, the former station nave was used for the sludge of museum carriages being driven to Partizanskaya on the subwayβs birthday or museum day. Reconstruction of the nave with the equipment of the area for the repair of cars is planned.
