The 33rd Cavalry Division of the SS (3rd Hungarian) ( German: 33. Waffen-Kavallerie-Division der SS (ungarische Nr. 3) ) - an armed formation of the SS that existed during the Second World War in the Wehrmacht . Created in November 1944 from the Hungarian cavalry.

After training, together with other divisions Florian Gayer and Maria Theresa , was surrounded and defeated by the Red Army in the battles for Budapest . According to historians, the formation never reached the size of a division, being such only on paper [1] .
After the disbandment, the serial number was assigned to another SS division .
