Kabul [1] ( Pashto And dari کابل - Kabul [2] ) is one of the thirty-four provinces (vilayats) of Afghanistan, located in the east of the country. The administrative center is the capital of Afghanistan - Kabul . The territory is 4,462 km² with a population of 3,528,000 people for 2007.

History
At the beginning of the 13th century, Kabul was considered one of the most beautiful places in the world, was a cultural center. Since then, this beauty has been destroyed in heavy and bloody wars, by occupiers and interventionists, and by the Taliban themselves.
