Geography
It is located on the left bank of the Shersha River (a tributary of the Bolshoy Kutra ), at a distance of about 3 km to the south-west from the village of Yakovtsevo on the highway leading from Yakovtsev to Novoselki .
History
In the past, the village of the Yakovtsevo volost of the Murom district of the Vladimir province , is found on the “Plans of the general survey of Murom district” in 1796 [2] .
- The salary books of the Ryazan diocese for 1676 mention the village of Spasskaya as part of the parish of the village of Yakovtsevo, in which there are 10 peasant yards and 2 boles' yards.
- In the “Historical and Statistical Description of Churches and Parishes of the Vladimir Diocese” for 1897, it says that Spasskaya has 42 courtyards.
