Geography
It is located at a distance of about 4 km northwest of the village of Novosyolki . Located on the right bank of the Malaya Kutra River , the left tributary of the Big Kutra .
History
In the past - the village of Yakovtsevsky volost of the Murom district of the Vladimir province .
- In the salary books of the Ryazan diocese for 1676, as part of the parish of the village of Yakovtsevo , the village of Lesnikova is mentioned, in which there are 20 peasant and 2 bobyl yards.
- In the “Historical and Statistical Description of the Churches and Parishes of the Vladimir Diocese” for 1897 it is said that there are 28 yards in Lesnikovo and that since the beginning of the 19th century it has been attributed to the parish of the village of Novosyolok.
