Content
Story
Montgomery Brogan ( Edward Norton ), a successful young man from Brooklyn, sentenced to 7 years in drug trafficking. Tomorrow he will be behind bars and he has only 24 hours to prepare for his future imprisonment and say goodbye to his relatives, each of whom has his own view of what is happening. In the evening, a farewell party awaits him, and while there is still time, Monty recalls his life, which has suddenly become the past. He does not try to justify himself or find out the name of the man who turned him over to the police, he simply escorts himself on his last journey.

- In the fight scene, Barry Pepper accidentally broke his nose to Edward Norton.
- Toby Maguire bought the rights to the novel by David Benioff with the expectation that he himself will play the main role. However, in the end, the actor preferred the film " Spider-Man " and remained in the project only as a producer.
- During a five-minute soliloquy in the toilet, Monty Brogan said the word “ fuck ” 40 times. In the same scene, he mentions slavery, and his phrase is consonant with the one pronounced by the hero of Norton in the movie American X-History .
