Game Description
The game presents the modern Russian combat helicopter Ka-50 "Black Shark". The detail of modeling helicopter systems and mechanisms is very high. [1] The Black Sea coast of Russia, the western part of Georgia and the small northeastern part of Turkey are modeled in detail. There are 16 airdromes located on this territory, highly authentic to the existing ones. Crimea Peninsula from previous Eagle Dynamics games is not available in this game. In total, the territory represented in the game is about 330,000 km².
Only Ka-50 is available for player control. Other combat helicopters, airplanes, ground equipment, warships of Russia and NATO, as well as infantry are represented as bots . Considerable attention is paid to the dynamics of flight of aircraft controlled by AI , weapons and ballistics of artillery systems, free- falling bombs , NARs , ATGM "Whirlwind" .
During the development of the game, the actual Ka-50 model, flight number 25, was taken as the basis; development was carried out with the participation of the Kamov Design Bureau . At the testing stage, the game was used at the Air Force Academy. Gagarin for the training of helicopter pilots of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation as a simulator. [2]
