Aviation Navy Uruguay ( Spanish Aviación Naval Uruguaya ) - one of the components of the naval forces of Uruguay . Organizationally part of the Navy. The main tasks of naval aviation of Uruguay are air surveillance, anti-submarine defense and search and rescue activities at sea. The naval aviation of Uruguay is almost completely coastal, since the Navy of Uruguay does not have sufficiently large ships capable of taking the aircraft on board. The only exception is the tanker ROU 04 “General Artigas”, on which the helicopter deck was installed.
