At birth, his surname was slightly different - Ladetti - the name of Ladatte (or Ladatt ) was the result of " official exhortation " after Francesco moved from Italy to Paris . It is sometimes referred to as Francois Ladatte .
In 1728, in Paris, he received the second prize of the French Academy for his sculpture of Goran and Naaman , and the following year he won the main prize for his work, Joachim the king of Judea .
Ladatte worked in Turin , Paris and Rome , until 1745, when he finally finally settled in Turin as the Scultore in Bronzi di Sua Maestà. In subsequent years, he fulfills various orders of the royal court, mainly of a decorative nature.
In addition to Turin, Ladatte works in some other cities of Piedmont. He can be seen in his works in Vicoforte, Vercelli and Nichelino (in this city, Ladatte created a statue of the Deer for the Stupigni hunting palace (Italian) ).
At the end of his life, in 1778, Ladatta received the status of professor at the Royal Academy of Painting and Sculpture in Turin.
Ladatte died in 1787, the alleged date of death is January 18.
