Story

Lenny wins the lottery big, and on this occasion has a party for all his friends in a luxury hotel. At the party, Bart meets his double - Simon Worcesfield, the heir to a wealthy family. After making sure that they look like two drops of water, Bart and Simon decide to exchange clothes and impersonate each other.

Bart begins life on the magnificent Worcesfield estate. At first delighted with luxury, he soon met Simon's half-brother and sister, who hate him as a rival heir. Mr. Burns tells Bart (mistaking him for Simon) that he, too, was once the youngest in a large family, but he inherited by adjusting the untimely death of his older brothers and sisters (“accidents and poisoned potatoes”). Burns warns Bart-Simon that his own stepbrother and sister can be equally insidious: “You can’t predict when they will strike: misfortune on a boat trip, tragedy during a trip to a ski resort ... Don’t hesitate, sooner or later they will get you ... "Bart is horrified by this prospect. When the half-brother invites Bart to the alpine resort of Aspen, Bart realizes that an attempt is being made on him.

Simon Worcesfield, meanwhile, is living in the Simpsons family. However, Lisa recognizes the substitution, noticing strange changes in her brother’s behavior: he politely listens to Simpson’s grandfather ’s delirium, says “window opening” instead of “window” and does not bully. Lisa exposes Simon and makes him tell all his parents. In the confession scene, Homer imagines that in front of him is “Bart from the Future,” which has moved in time to warn of misfortune.

An excited Simpsons family sets off for the Alps just in time to save Bart, who was pushed by his brother and sister Worcesfield from a steep mountainside.
