Biography
Born on October 20, 1936 .
He graduated from the Kuban Agricultural Institute with a degree in mechanical engineering.
He worked as a mechanic, instructor of the Komsomol district committee, collective farm party committee director, director of the brick factory of the Niva Kuban agricultural partnership in the Bryukhovetsky district of the Krasnodar Territory . He was elected a deputy of the Bryukhovetsky District Council.
On November 22, 1998, he was elected to the State Duma of the second convocation at the by-election in the Kanevsky single-mandate constituency 39 of the Krasnodar Territory in connection with the death of the deputy from the district, Alexander Petrik . He was a member of the Communist Party faction, was a member of the Committee on Tourism and Sports.
In December 1999, he was elected to the State Duma of the third convocation, was elected in the same constituency from the Communist Party electoral association, was a member of the deputy agro-industrial group, a member of the Committee on Nationalities.
