Michael Edward Palin ( born Michael Edward Palin ; born May 5, 1943 , Sheffield , UK ) is a British actor, writer, television presenter, one of the members of the Monty Python group. Commander of the Order of the British Empire . From July 2009 to 2012, Michael Palin was president of the Royal Geographical Society [4] .

Biography
Born May 5, 1943 in Sheffield , Yorkshire ( Great Britain ) in the family of an engineer. He graduated from Oxford University with a degree in history. In Oxford, I met Terry Jones , after this meeting, Palin and Jones began to conduct their own comedy show on the BBC channel.
Palin loves to travel; she puts reports on her Palin's Travels website and DVDs.
Married, has three children.
