Hazel is a right tributary of the Seim River . The river is 29 km long. Depth from 30 cm to 2.50 cm.

Small and large fish are found in the river: crucian carp , roach , gudgeon , ruffs , loaches. The river is inhabited by mammals such as beavers , otters , muskrats , minks , weasels .
On the banks of the river in the past a lot of hazel grew - hence the name of the river [1] .
