Biography
Peter Bardakov was born in 1756; came from the nobility of the Kostroma province .
May 22, 1767 was recorded as a corporal in the Life Guards Izmailovsky Regiment , January 1, 1771 promoted to sergeant . On January 1, 1778 he was promoted to ensign , on January 1, 1779, he was promoted to warrant officer .
In 1782, he was transferred from the guard with the rank of lieutenant colonel to the Moscow Infantry Regiment; on March 9, 1787 he was determined to form the battalion of the Yekaterinoslav Jaeger Corps. He fought with the Turks in 1787-1791. He was awarded the Order of St. George of the 4th class on April 14, 1789:

He was promoted to colonel on April 21, 1789 for distinction near Machin, and was sent to form the Tula Infantry Regiment. From June 21, 1789 to January 6, 1790 - commander of the Tula Infantry Regiment, participated with the regiment in the occupation of the Bender Fortress, transferred to the Fanagori Regiment. March 23, 1793 transferred to the Ingermanland Carabinier Regiment .
In 1794 he fought in Poland and was awarded the Order of St. George of the 3rd class on September 15, 1794 for courage:
| for the diligent service and excellent courage shown to him under Luban with the Polish rebels, where he, having hit the enemy, defeated him and thereby contributed to the victory he won here. |
On April 20, 1797, major generals were appointed with the appointment of the chief of the Kazan cuirassier regiment . He was promoted to lieutenant general on October 18, 1798.
February 7, 1799 was fired. March 28, 1801 accepted into service with the appointment of the commandant in Vilna . October 10, 1801 removed from commandants, and January 1, 1804 dismissed. In 1812 he headed the Kostroma militia and in 1813 was with him during the siege of the Breslavl and Glogau fortresses. On October 28, 1814, the Kostroma militia was disbanded.
Pyotr Grigorievich Bardakov died on January 4, 1821 and was buried in the Novodevichy Convent in Moscow.
